Thompson tg585v8 increase beyond 65mbps

Hi, saw a thread somewhere on the internet a couple of weeks ago about increasing the channel bandwidth of the Thompson tg585v8, can someone point me in the right the direction?
I cannot for the life of me find it, but was pretty shore it was on the plusnet forums???
