This line does not have left in jumpers.

I have just done a BT check on a phone number because a friend would like fibre and apart from the usual stuff below it also said

No mention was made of a cab number so is this all to do with an exchange only line Sad

What does that mean?

I think this basically implies that fibre hasn't been installed. Had fibre been previously installed on the line, you'd have a slightly different message.

To add to this:
It has started showing on all our order placement systems as well. All the orders we have placed have gone through ok, so I wouldn't worry too much.

I suspect if you cancel ,they leave jumpers until they have to be removed (say for ADSL), to save time when its reconnected(if users want fibre)

Now that makes a bit of sense, presumably then, the cessation fee will be abolished - it should never have been introduced, leaving jumpers until needed elsewhere should be the default.
