Switching to Plusnet has been a nightmare for me. Previously I used another ISP and the 17Mbps broadband package was completely fine but now Plusnet internet connections become very slow nearly every single day. If my son uploads a video, nobody could visit any other webpages and it takes 10+ hours to upload 1GB file.
I feel fibre could be better and i then phoned the service. I waited for half hour to have my queries answered - He told me I need to pay extra 10 pounds (35Mbps package) for a 24 months contract because my current broadband package is free. And then when I questioned he said the other best offer is paying £12 for 18 months.
I wish there was no early exit fee and could not wait to leave Plusnet.

What router do you have from your previous ISP? It might be possible for you to re-configure it for use on Plusnet, which might alleviate the issue when a video is being uploaded.
