My broadband has started disconnecting again, also the SNR has jumped from being set to 3down 6up, to 9down 12.7up.
Type Interleave Path
Status Show Time
Downstream Upstream
Data Rate (kbps) 13143 527
Noise Margin (dB) 9.0 12.7
Attenuation (dB) 26.7 13.9
Output power(dbm) 20.4 10.1
My line was syncing at 17895meg, noe it's dropped to the above.

I tried the broadband trouble shooter, but it says error please try later.
Unfortunately Chris Pettitt has moved on so I can't contact him as per the usual way.

A fault ticket has been passed through, it looks like there was an error with the automated testing which is why you saw what you did (that and the fact that a ticket has already been raised).
Your latest connections on our side are showing as 10 days and 2 days:
<img src="http://community.plus.net/visualradius/generated/image13758885061879.png"/>
Likewise according to BTs profile records your sync rate hasn't been over 17000 since the start of July. The target downstream SNR is also currently at 3 (sorry I say currently for all of these things, the latest update we're seeing on BTs side is from yesterday).
That ping isn't looking healthy though, I guess disconnecting then resyncing the router makes no difference?
Either way as I said there's a fault sat with our team so they'll get back to you soon.

Regards the connection, what I meant was the PPPoE was dropping, but the router was remaining in sync.
The reason I haven't mentioned about the drop in sync recently, is because it was only a few weeks ago a BTOR was playing with the line, so it had been on DLM testing.
The past couple of weeks it has been sat at just over 15meg.
I was typing away in a bit of a rush, I should have explained a bit more.
My concern is that the jitter and latency issues have returned again, causing the old issues with voip and video buffering.
Also there is obviously some kind of fault/issue that has caused the DLM to over ride the manual set SNR.

xDSL Status Check
xDSL Status Test Summary
Sync Status: Circuit In Sync
General Information
NTE Power Status: PowerOn
Upstream DSL Link Information Downstream DSL Link Information
Loop Loss: 13.8 26.6
SNR Margin: 12.5 8.6
Errored Seconds: 0 0
HEC Errors: 0
Cell Count: 725782 8492137
Speed: 527 13142
Maximum Stable Rate (KBPS): 15904
Fault Threshold Rate (KBPS): 12723
Mean Time Between Retrains (Seconds): 86400
Mean Time Between Errors Upstream (Seconds): 2385
Indicative Line Quality: A
Mean Time Between Errors Downstream (Seconds): 28
28 seconds between errors as per the above would seem to be fine, though given what you're seeing I'm not at all sure what's going wrong. I'll do what I can to chase this but think it'd be best left to the faults team as far as diagnostics goes.

It would appear that whatever the fault has been over the past 6 months, instead of being fixed like we thought, the fault just disappeared like it has done before.
I have had around 9 BTOR visits the past few months, and all agree there is underlying problem, but they just can't track it down.
My line is perfect when the fault isn't there... it is rock solid.
But when the fault is present, the broadband is pretty much unusable.
Generally, the fault affects the Upload, and the line becomes incredibly jittery, with latency shooting of the scale.
The problem is, the fault comes, hangs around for a few hours, or even days, then vanishes.
The past BTOR visit resulted in a new pair, so I have had a new line right to the router now, the last thing is a lift and shift, but BTOR are flat out refusing to do it.
After the new pair was added, the line has been great, that is why myself and Chris Pettitt, both thought the problem was solved, until yesterday!
Like I said, the SNR is manually set to 3down and 6up, but that jumped yesterday.
Earlier this afternoon, my router rebooted, I'm not sure if that was PN testing the line? It may have been yourself?
But the SNR has dropped back to how it should be, and the line has synced much better, although today the fault has disappeared again.

Although the downstream through put is a little slow.
I always test wired etc by the way.

Quote from: JamesM Sorry to butt in Devonian, but which Belkin router have you got ?, and are you using it with PPPoE. I have a F7D1401 v1 and I use PPPoA. I am just wondering if I should try PPPoE.
I have got the N750 James.

Your service was found to be performing poorly.
Please raise a fault with your service provider, stating that the BT Performance Tester tool indicates poor service throughput performance after the third test.

I'm sorry to see that you're still having issues here, I really thought we'd cracked it too! Hopefully your ticket will get picked up ASAP, in the meantime, I wouldn't run any further BT Speedtests as we have evidence on the TAP3 Test to suggest that the connection running at a very poor level.
Fingers crossed for you and hope that you manage to get this issue sorted out.
