Are you connected wired/wirelessly? Which router?
Have you done the BT Wholesale speed test? Can you do it again/post the further diagnostics too? This should be done via wired ethernet rather than wirelessly.
Are you having streaming problems at certain times of a day? Which sites?
How are other things like web browsing?

Currently using it wired. BT results are really scattered, one moment Im on 16mb the next Im on 50 as I should be. Every streaming service I use has to buffer repeatedly from Iplayer to live tv (ITV etc...)

I take it that you have problems at peak hours, i.e. 8-10pm?
There is an issue which other users have reported and PN are investigating. But it's worth posting the results from speed tests etc. here so the support people can see them.

You could try a bit of gateway hopping.
ie:
ID your existing gateway:
http://usertools.plus.net/@gateway
and check the BBC Iplayer speed test
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/diagnostics#results
Now in the routers GUI, click disconnect and then connect.
Check that you're now on a different gateway and see if the Iplayer speed test gives better results.
Over the past week I've had problems with gateways:
ptw-ag03, pcl-ag04 and today ptn-ag02.

Was on ptn-ag03 got 19 down and 4 up
Now on ptw-ag04 8.4 down and 4.5 up
Now on ptw-ag03 16.4 down and 4.4 up
FAR FROM THE 47MB I WAS TOLD I WOULD GET WITHIN + - 1MB AND FAR FROM THE 38MB I WAS TOLD I WILL HAVE TO "SETTLE" FOR
I think I will be cancelling as I was with Sky before on 8mb down and 1.2 up but it was like that 24/7 365 days a year

Hi HNKS,
Could you run through our fault troubleshooter at http://faults.plus.net and let me know when you've done this so we can investigate this further with our suppliers/
