Technicolour Router and Time capsule

Grateful for any advice, in spite of many hours my TC refuses to connect to the Technicolour router.  Has anyone found a solution?  many thanks, stephen

You may be able to resolve that by setting up s specific port forwarding rule.
If you go to "toolbox" then "game and application sharing" that should get you going. You may need to refer to help for the TC software for the relevant port numbers.

Hi, The Technicolor router now "sees" the TC but I can't see how to set the port numbers, even if I knew how to find them. As the TC has an amber flashing light airport utility can't see the TC. With my BT Broadband router it was a simple plug and play.  I have to admit to getting rather frustrated with this - any hints/tips or suggestions welcome.  Thanks Stephen

You can use a BT Home Hub with Plusnet.

Fingers-crossed I have had success..... I did a factory reset for the Technicolor router and the `TC, mamazingly then airport utility was able to see the TC. Hopefully all will now be well.  Thanks, Stephen
