Hi, my connection on 21CN now is just over 5MB after an earth fault was fixed by BT which is the best its ever been but I think I have an issue with my wireless connection,
I have not moved my router or interfered with it but recently webpages take ages to load and the speed can be very erratic when a speed test is run but this does not happen all the time but it does seem to be worst in the evening.
Signal strength shows excellent on my laptop and I have no problem when I use a wired connection so do I have a faulty router and I do not have a spare one to try.
Please help

Hi
I had similar problem with my TG582n. Sometimes everything would be running fine then things would grind to a halt. I.e. Google home page would take over 30 seconds and bbc homepage up tp 2 mins. (Wireless or wired connections) This on a solid 8Mb line.
Swopped it with my old BT home hub 2.0 and problem solved. These TG582n's don't seem to be up to much given the number of posts I've seen about them.

Have you factory reset the router first of all?
