Hi, up to now had very little problems since joining plusnet,
I came home from work on Thurs to find my iphone although connected to wifi with a good signal strength would not load anything requring the internet,
I can ping perfectly off my phone, to the router, to an old router which is set up purely as a wireless access point elshwhere in the property, but it cannot see beyond the LAN.
Same applies to my laptop when connected via Wifi. Both were working fine until Thursdsay. I now have my laptop plugged directly to the Technicolor router with a cable and all is working fine - not ideal though being stuck to a cable.
The strangest thing is though, If I go to the other router which is connected to the technicolor router via an ethernet cable, and has DHCP, UPNP etc turned off and a static IP within the same range (192.168.1.252) (which is purely used as a wireless access point, and has been working like this for months), this too cannot see the internet via wifi.
It's a very strange fault which I cant get my head around.
I have tried resetting the technicolor router with the reset pin press button on the back but thats changed nothing. PLEASE HELP, its driving me insane
Thanks in advance,
Ste

Just done some more investigating, and think problem may well be my end, disconnected the LONG cable that goes to my other router, and this seems to have corrected my fault.
I've altered that many settings on my technicolor router to try and get to the bottom of the issue, that I am going to reset it again to get everything back to standard again, can someone at Plusnet please make sure resetting my router (and therefore disconnecting again) doesnt cause my speed to get dropped due to line management etc? - I dont like powering off my router so often for fear of losing speed
Thanks

Found the bloody issue, god know's how i'd missed it or why, for some reason, IP leases had renewed, and the DNS had set itself on all devices to the IP address of my access point old router.... manually updated and all working again, cant believe i'd missed it!
Can someone from plusnet please just check that my line hasnt been held back from me resetting router so many times this last couple of days.
Thanks

Hi there,
Glad to hear you fixed it. I've checked your connection logs and there luckily hasn't been enough disconnections to warrant any changes to line management and the speed profile:

If you do suspect any issues with that I'd head over to http://faults.plus.net
