Hi All
Anyone have experience of getting this to work. I have the Hikvision DDNS setup and working correctly for the web browser i.e 2 camera's outside LAN
http://www.hik-online.com/Cam1 ; External port: 8081
http://www.hik-online.com/Cam2 ; External Port 8082
I just can't get the iVMS-4500 app to work from outside LAN , just get a request timed out, I tried opening various ports 554, 8001, 8201, nothing seems to work

Don't you need to forward port 8081 and 8082 ?

Assuming the Hikvision is a dvr device it's unlikely you need port translation.
Try unasigning the port forward rule.
Modify the rule by removing the entries in the "translate to" field.
Re-assign the port forward rule to the IP address used by the Hikvision.
