Technicolor TG582n and Hikvision iVMS-4500 app

Hi All
Anyone have experience of getting this to work. I have the Hikvision DDNS setup and working correctly for the web browser i.e  2 camera's outside LAN
http://www.hik-online.com/Cam1 ; External port: 8081
http://www.hik-online.com/Cam2 ; External Port 8082
I just can't get the iVMS-4500 app to work from outside LAN  , just get a request timed out,  I tried opening various ports 554, 8001, 8201, nothing seems to work  Sad

Don't you need to forward port 8081 and 8082 ?

Re: Technicolor TG582n and Hikvision iVMS-4500 app

These are all the ports i have open. each one with Port Range to both cameras, still the mobile app does not work  Sad
Port Range translate to
8081 80
8082 80
8001 8000
8201 8000
5541 554
5542 554

Re: Technicolor TG582n and Hikvision iVMS-4500 app

Assuming the Hikvision is a dvr device it's unlikely you need port translation.
Try unasigning the port forward rule.
Modify the rule by removing the entries in the "translate to" field.
Re-assign the port forward rule to the IP address used by the Hikvision.

Re: Technicolor TG582n and Hikvision iVMS-4500 app

Thanks but i don't have Hikvision DVR i just use the 2 cameras to write direct to NFS Share or Synology NAS,

and assign to Camera1 would be as below, still does not work for HK mobile app

Alias:  CAM1
RegisterMode: HiDDNS
Server Address: www.hik-online.com
Device Domain: Serial Number of Camera

Starting Live View on App just gives me Connection Failed..  Sad
