Technicolor TG582n Router

Can I ask...how to change this setting on wireless:
1)  Actual Speed [Mbps]:130 to 300?
2) Band:2.4GHz to 5.0GHz
As I think this router is fixed to Actual Speed [Mbps]:130 and Band:2.4GHz and cannot be changing?

Re: Technicolor TG582n Router

300Mbps requires using 40MHz, which takes up most of the 2.4GHz channels, so you probably shouldn't try to do it.
The telnet commands for the wireless settings are here: http://npr.me.uk/telnet.html#w300
The reported wireless rate is less important than the throughput you actually get anyway. The throughput could vary on depending on the frame aggregation and protection mechanisms in use, amongst other things.
The router doesn't have the hardware for the 5GHz band, so that can't be enabled.

Re: Technicolor TG582n Router

Thanks but I wouldn't touch telnet on plusnet router. I had changed channel from Auto to 11 and wifi is much better now.
Here is wifi speed on 130Mbps link speed:
Here is ethernet on 100Mbps link speed:
