Technicolor TG582n PPP settings

Hypothetically, how would I set my Plusnet-supplied box so that I could freely change the broadband settings, particularly the username and password? It all seems locked to me.
On the box I am "in charge of" at work, I can change settings to my heart's content, although that is not at all similar to the one I have here.
Thanks.

Providing you are not connected to Plusnet the settings are not locked so you can change them as desired. Of course unless you use the correct ones it won't connect to Plusnet.

Oh cool, thanks.  I'm switching broadband supplier but I really don't want to have to reconfigure everything!

I'd suggest going to https://portal.plus.net/automatic_hardware_setup/index.php and disabling the Auto setup before you leave.
