I've just have my new line activated today, and now just awaiting my broadband activation and the delivery of my router.
Just a quick question to put my mind at rest regarding the Technicolor 582n, does the router sync at good speed?
A previous ISP supplied me with a couple of routers (both Netgears one a DGN2200) which I found synced at around 2mbs lower that my own original Belkin 150n which I couldn't quite fathom, I do find Belkin routers seem to sync really well and currently own a N300 which I intend to pass on to my parents as their router is on it's last legs, I'm wondering if I should hang on to it. I don't really want to try swapping between the two during the training period just in case it affects my overall speed.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I've found it to give excellent sync speeds on my shortish line.
DG834v4 = 17300 (Broadcom)
TG582n = 18000 (Broadcom)
Also have a Draytek Vigor 120 v2 (Infineon) which is supposed to be very good but it syncs slightly under the TG582 both for download and upload.

What model number is the Belkin which syncs so well? I ask because I suspect it uses an Trend chipset, which often sync higher than Broadcom routers. The model number will confirm or deny my suspicions.
