Technical Support request: IDS DOS Parser : UDP Flood Technicolor router TG582n

I am trying to make a video call but the router is seeing the video traffic as a DOS attack then restarting the router, please see logs below: is there a way to switch off or bypass the IDS in the router? Plusnet Chat support were not helpful, they just said have you done a speed test and to post my query here:
IDS dos parser : udp flood (1 of 1)

I am just an unqualified onlooker but your Software version looks to be out of date.

You could disable IDS.
Need to use telnet to do this, you'll find the commands here:
http://npr.me.uk/telnet.html#ids
