Tech question regarding adsl on line

Hi,
What i would like to know is this,
On a BT phone line with adsl enabled,exactly what tones are present on the line with no modem/router connected on the line?
I am guessing possibly pilot tones only,anyone know ?

No tones will be present until a modem "wakes up" the DSLAM in the exchange.
