Target SNR

For some reason the target SNR on my line has gone up from 6dB to 9dB. It's been fine on 6dB for over a year.
Due to this increase I now have an IP profile of 1.75 instead of 2, at these sorts of speed 0.25 does make a reasonable difference.
I contacted PlusNet's support team asking if the target SNR could be reset and got the following reply:
"To be honest if the service is working we would not look at doing a reset unless deemed necessary by our faults team." and suggesting that I could log a fault with the line if I thought there was still a problem.
I'm not sure that getting target SNR reset counts as a faulty line?

Hi Tim,
I've just submitted a request to have your target SNR reset.

Re: Target SNR

Hi Bob,
Thanks for sorting it for me, seems to have done the trick.
