TR69

Plugged my Plusnet Technicolor router in yesterday to follow some of the troubleshooting steps suggested during the outage (was on a BT HH3) and in the logs I noticed activity by maybe a user? called TR69. Just wondered does this mean Plusnet remotely manage their own branded routers? and if so is there any advantage to the end user having that in place? Just debating whether to go back to the HH3 as the Technicolor router's WiFi coverage doesn't seem as good at the HH3.

Re: TR69

TR69 is a remote management protocol. it allows configuration amongst other things to be pushed to the router.
