TG585v7 - use just as a router

I have been looking for a simple 4 port router to put behind my tv to plug the TV, Sky box.  I will run an ethernet cable to my main router.  They are not as easy to find these days I noticed and the prices were not cheap unless you buy some dodgy brand that is likely to cause your house to catch fire overnight.
I was wondering if it is possible to use an old TG585v7 by turning the wifi off and stopping it issuing IP addresses.

cheers

You want a simple switch not a router - they can be got for around £5

Cheers jelv.  Until I can get hold of one though can I use my old router?

You probably want to disable the Wifi as well, to stop it possibly interfering with any wifi from the main router.
