I have a TG585v7 with unbranded firmware version 7.4.4.7
If I install the Plusnet branded version 8.2.6.5:
a) Will I loose any capability?
b) Can I re-install 7.4.4.7?
c) Will the router be locked to Plusnet in any way?
d) Is there any other reason why I might regret doing this?
My main reason for applying the upgrade is that the router occasionally starts to refuse (or continue to allow) wired connections, and has to be rebooted.

Thanks, I have since been lead to some generic firmware which works fine.
I was not very sure about the provenance of the first generic version that I found, which was why I was considering the Plusnet version.
The Windows 7 firmware upgrade wizard which I used from the Plusnet website, makes the installation very easy.
