PN kindly supplied a replacement TG585 to see if it would help with line speed problems. It doesn't seem to have improved that but it did bring about two unwanted changes here.
We run a a small wireless network of Apple Macs and use screen sharing quite a lot. When the v8 router was installed, screen sharing was disabled and I've not been able to find anything in the router's browser interface that will allow me to change to something that does work. Does it require CLI action?
Also, one of the Macs now loses the wireless network and, on trying to rejoin, gets the message that the password is invalid.
I have swapped back to the v7 router and screen sharing works again. (Line syncs slightly faster, too, but that's another issue.)
