TG582n Fibre Router

Outreach installed  new fibre modem and router yesterday. The engineer found that although he received the full (40mbs) download speed from the installed line, on his machine, I was unable to get it via my router, although I have a decent upload speed. He thought that it was an external line fault but I am wondering if the router could be faulty.
Any suggestions ?

Re: TG582n Fibre Router

Were you on ADSL before? It may be your Current Line Speed (log-in required) hasn't updated since the switch-over.
A call to the help desk to ask them to update it will probably sort it, unless a staff member picks it up on here, although they aren't usually around at the weekend...

Re: TG582n Fibre Router

Hi there
Your profile was still stuck on its ADSL value.
I've given this a kick now so if you reboot the router you should see a increase
