Edit: I was going to download a manual, to see if it said anything about it, but you may have one?

I have looked using google for the means/cause of the issues but have not got very far. Not even TP-Link would give me the reason.
If it is a wet weekend I might spend some more time looking at this.

Can someone give me a sensible view on what was going on today, I used two different PCs, one wireless, one wired, I rebooted the Router and it pretty much was useless irrespective of the configuration at my end, I even considered going back to the TD-W8961 but lost patience before that point. I am now considering switching to another supplier for my service.

The TP-Linik ADSL routers allows for manual setting ffor MTU and MSS. Defaults being MTU 1480 and MSS 1400.
Does PN have any recommendations for these values? (I am aware of how to test MTU seeting)
The reason I ask is I noticed Gary has set his MTU to 1400 on his TP-Link device.
