Sync speed appears to have lowered from 76 to 61mbit

Hi,
My sync speed was previously 76mbit.
Decided to randomly check my Plusnet account today and it's now 61mbit.
Why has it lowered?
This is pretty disappointing because when I downloaded games from Steam, I used to get a download rate of 7.6mbit.

Mine has fluctuated between 74 and around 62Mbs since installation back in Jan this year.
Most of the time it hovers around the 68Mbs sync speed.

Re: Sync speed appears to have lowered from 76 to 61mbit

Hi there,
I've checked your connection and can see no issues and your line is performing well. It may be that your cabinet has less capacity available which can reduce your speed. I can see that the estimate we provided when you signed up for fibe was 59Mb/s and you're still above that.
Your sync rate may increase on a re-sync but that's not guaranteed, it's something that can happen if say you were one of the first connected to your cab when fibre became enabled.

Hmm. To be honest my sync speed was 76 for a good couple of months. Doesn't make sense why it would be lowered. Just slightly disappointed after experiencing such nice speeds.

It wouldn't be lowered on purpose.
Other factors such as line performance, cross talk, cabinet capacity could be responsible.
