Yes I have, ejs, but read somewhere that it won't work with the TG582n router. I'll have a look.
Edit: had a look at the website and it's listed (I knew my old DG834v2 is). Will investigate.
Edit2: on looking at what the program does I'm not sure it provides much help. Whilst SNR changes a little my main concern is the high error rate: tracking this might give more useful info. I may run it at some point.
current stats:-
Uptime: 2d 1:50:12
SNR: 6.1
FEC: 766/12.890.931
CRC: 72/5685
HEC: 186/19.726

Uptime: 4d 3:51:24
SNR 6.0; D/l speed (Ookla) 15.18.

Hmmm. The connection seems stable but those errors?
Speed isn't great compared to what it has been and whay ALL my neighbours get.
Where to now, Tony?

The expected disconnect just happened:- 16.31.
Reconnect data:-
Sync: 17.717, SNR: 6.1.
Speed: 14.83 - so still falling.
PN line speed: 15.7 - still falling.
My PN line speed and sync speeds are far lower than I was getting immediately after ADSL2+ and for many weeks last year. The PN line speed is lower than ALL of my neighbours' d/l speeds and I'm on the shorter line!
The degradation of the connection is going exactly as I predicted: I am NOT satisfied with it!

BTW Performance tests:
Jan 27: d/l 13.59, IPP 15.76
Today, 16.53: d/l 2.46, IPP 15.63. The site says test not conclusive and, again, has a continue button to a page that tells me to change the router username which I am not going to do.
Clearly, there is something drastically wrong with this line.

17.02.05 at 19.19
FAO: Tony T
At c.19.10 we had a 100% phone line outage: not broadband, the entire phone line.
Reconnected and BB stats similar to before except sync has fallen again to 17.127 - another c.05meg drop as expected with every outage. FEC down errors are c.50k per 5 mins. Another couple of outages and sync will be <17.
D/l speed has now fallen to 14.29.
BTW IPP: 15.11 - still falling.
Broadband outages are one thing, a full phone line outage is another: we have a serious line fault.

Interesting: I found BT's line fault page and it showed a "possible broadband fault" but as soon as I clicked the down arrow it reverted to the standard no fault description.

FAO Tony.
Another outage.
Reconnected at: sync 19.789, SNR 3.1.
D/l: 14.11
BT IPP: 17.46
PN line speed: 15.1 - still falling, please put it back to 17 or more.
What on earth is going on?

FAO Tony - HELP!
Right back to square one: outages every two minutes, very difficult to get this message out.
Only managed to run one Ookla speed test - 9mbps.
SORRY TO SHOUT BUT THIS ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH!

Disconnects every 2 or 3 minutes; I've given up keeping full details.
This is a nightmare and has been going on since December 2015!
