Sync Speed Reduced

My sync speed seems to have been reduced. I have disconnected my connection a bit today to install new firmware on routers but the SNR doesn't appear to have been increased, just the sync speed lowered. Can anybody shed some light on this?

Re: Sync Speed Reduced

The target SNR has remained at 6dB and from your stats you can see SN Margin downstream is at 6.5dB.  The exchange reporting from the DLM system is showing that your sync rate was between 6240kbps and 6784kbps so it certainly has reduced marginally.  I'd say that line conditions were slightly worse at the time of your last sychronisation.  These small fluctuations do occur occassionally.
There's not really a way to force the sync rate back up manually.  You will need to power cycle your router and check the new sync rate.  I suspect that you will return to the previous level after a few tries.  I'd recommend to keep it below 10 tries in an hour so that you don't upset the DLM.  The fewer the better!
