Support - Modem

Firstly, telephone support is very poor, been on for 30 mins and still waiting.

Called earlier today 20 min wait, to complain of poor speed, told the line will be changed and to reset modem in 3 hrs time.

 

Well guess what, reset modem and now can't connect!

 

Modem is an ancient Thomson ST516 V6 as supplied by PlusNet.

 

Please answer the phone and tell me Whats going on. This access is important to my elderly father and all it has been is a problem, I just need it fixing please.

 

How can this be so difficult.....

You should ask in correct thread ie MY ROUTER.
Calling stuff "muppets" is bad manners/ won't aid your cause.
Modems don't last forever of course; maybe you need to buy a new one.

I don't need you, so go play with other geeks, you are picking on the wrong guy.

If an organisation thinks keeping me waiting for that length of time is ok, then I have every right to think they are muppets.

 

So, but out, go geek someone one else.
