Supplied router - wirelless capability?

I'm looking to upgrade to fibre. I've presently got a NetGear router in my upstairs study plugged in to my desktop PC, and our two laptops access it from downstairs.
The upgrade to fibre package says I will be sent a PlusNet router and that other routers will not work with fibre.
But will the supplied router enable wireless connection for my two downstairs laptops?

Re: Supplied router - wirelless capability?

The PN supplied router is wireless. However, I found that the wireless was weak & my wireless speeds were much lower than when connected wired. I bought myself a dual band Asus RT-N56U which is much better.

Thanks, that confirms my suspicion they will only supply an 'entry level' one, shall we say... Roll_eyes
