Sunday slowdown and some evenings.

My ADSL slows down painfully at certain times. Right now it is awful. I have checked conns changed filters and rebooted but  really the speed is bad on Sundays and sometimes weekday early evenings and resolves itself so unlikely an issue my end. A speed test is giving me a ping of over 4 seconds and unable to calculate download speed. Other times it is 6 to 10 Mbs it is driving me nuts I need consistency and it is virtually unusable now.

Yes but surely this is just wasting my time. Its always Sunday midday and some evenings clearly an issue outside my house.

The DSL stats, particularly seeing if they are different when the problem is occurring and when it's not, would be useful to determine if the problem is due to interference (REIN), or congestion somewhere.

Or just report the fault and let Plusnet deal with it.

Whatever you do, make sure you run the BT speedtester when the slow speeds occur, and do the further diagnostics, so that the slow speed result is recorded on the system, and then the result will be accessed if you report a fault.
