On Monday 22/6 my ADSL down speed suddenly dropped from a steady 3.3 mb/s to about 0.4 or worse. Upstream stayed constant at 0.88. At times the down connection stopped responding altogether.
The modem sync speed has been constant for the last twelve months at about 3950, giving me an IP profile of 3.3 down which has been reliable and just enough to stream Netflix without buffering. SNR was pretty steady at about 6.1dB with virtually no fluctuation.
After all sorts of down instability over the last few days the line seems to have settled down again at a much lower sync speed, much higher SNR (9+ dB but not very stable) and much lower IP (2.6). I now can't use the web players without significant buffering. The Up has been rock steady.
Nothing has changed in the property. I'm using a VDSL interstitial plate and no microfilters. I plugged into the test socket but couldn't see any material difference.
The upstream stats haven't changed at all.
Current stats:
Modem Sync 2932 44dB SNR 9.4dB Down; 1048 26dB 6.0dB Up Netgear DGND3700v2 modem)
BT stats:
2.31 down 0.88 Up Ping 91.75ms
IP profile 2.59/0.83
Please can you look into this.

Hi vierne,
I've just opened your account to look into this and can see a fault has already been raised so I'm going to trust all the obvious things have been ruled out.
Looks like we're just waiting for a response from you re our last update on ticket 106283238.

As it's going to be next Wednesday before Openreach deign to turn up, please could we try a reset on the line to see if we can kickstart an improvement?

Hi, I can't submit a line reset as the connection is looking pretty intermittent still so we need to get the line fixed first before we make any changes to DLM:
