Sudden Speed Drop

I know there have been several threads regarding this issue, but I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problems as myself.
My internet speed was a between 6000 - 67000kbs up to Thursday last week since then it has dropped between 3000 - 1000kbs.
Today 15:04  3006 kbps (376kB/s)  356 kbps (44.5kB/s)
Nothing has changed to my set up (apart from install of Firefox 3).
My sync speed is still showing as 7000 Kbps.
I'm using a D-link DI604 Router and D-link 320T Ethernet modem . There has previously been a drop in speed occasionally if I have been 'Seeding' torrents throughout the night, but this has been rectified by a reset.
The current speed drop does not appear to be corrected by a hard reset on my  modem
This the latest stats from my modem

ADSL Firmware Version: 5.00.04.00 - 5.00.03.00 - 5.00.03.00 Annex A - 01.07.2b - 0.52
ADSL Software Version: V3.00B01T02.UK.20060126
Line State Connected
Modulation ADSL_G.dmt
Annex Mode ANNEX_A
Max Tx Power -38 dBm/Hz

Item Downstream Upstream Unit
SNR Margin 13 27 dB
Line Attenuation 12 5 dB
Data Rate 8128 448 kbps
I have raised this a a possible fault but wondered if any one had any ideas while i was waiting.

Re: Sudden Speed Drop

Hi Cressa,
Could you possibly try running a BT Speedtest for us to see what sort of throughput levels you experience through that?

Re: Sudden Speed Drop

Hiya,
Things look pretty decent to me.  You might actually be able to tweak things a little further to improve on that by following this link below:
