Sudden CHAP Authentication Failure

Hello,

As of Friday morning our connection has been returning a CHAP authentication error, nothing had been changed at this end and swapping out the current router/microfilter for the backups gave the same result.The router/s can negotiate the same speeds as usual.

bt_test_user@plusdsl.net/test can consistently authenticate successfully,
bt_test@startup_domain/(test or blank) returns a CHAP authentication error (except possibly once in the afternoon).

Are there any other data I could be collecting to try and accelerate getting this sorted out?
