Such inconsistent speeds over wifi

I can achieve my maximum download speed via wifi but it lasts for seconds. Then it can drop as low as 16Mb. Thats what I had on ADSL2+.
Cant believe Plusnet use such a shocking wireless router. I depend on wireless as my router is awkwardly placed. Sad

Re: Such inconsistent speeds over wifi

Seriously this sucks. It goes from 50 to 35 to 20. Sometimes even lower. Sad

Bite the bullet, do what I did. Treat yourself to an Asus RT-N56U, it's brilliant with lots of useful features, particularly dual channel operation.

Apart from extra features do you find there is any worthwhile measurable improvement in Down/Up speeds. Stability etc
