Stuck IP Profile

I had to replace a damaged cable about a week ago; and although BT's IP Profile setting for my line is 6500 Kbps, Plusnet has it at 1000. I've raised a ticket, but this hasn't helped. Maybe I need a little push-start?  Wink

Had the ticket been responded to inappropriately? If so I guess Mand has been busy with the "educating tool" again!

Ah, so he hadn't raised a specific fault requesting the stable rate to be set to match the IP Profile but had raised a generic speed fault.
Is this cropping up often enough for there to be a specific option or path when creating a ticket?

No, the script runs 4 times a day so it shouldn't happen regularly.

I reckon I've seen about 20 instances in the last week where it's required a poke. Something isn't working correctly and until that is sorted you need to make sure that anyone encountering this problem gets it sorted without any hassle.

The PN profile never seems to stick when it's going down though Roll eyes
