Stuck IP Profile

Hi, I've got a good idea that my IP profile is stuck although I don't seem to be able to check in my account settings at the moment for some reason.  Would it be possible for a nice Plusnet person to take a look please?

Re: Stuck IP Profile

Hi,
Can you please complete http://speedtest.btwholesale.com including 'Further Diagnostics' and post up your results so I can take a look at your IP Profile?
Our suppliers isn't showing it at the moment unfortunately.

Re: Stuck IP Profile

Hi, sorry just got around to doing this.  Could you up my IP profile to match the connection rate below please?  Thanks
Download speed achieved during the test was - 3.38 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 0.6 Mbps-7.15 Mbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :4.26 Mbps(DOWN-STREAM), 0.45 Mbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 3.5 Mbps

Re: Stuck IP Profile

The reported download speed achieved, IP profile and DSL connection rate all look consistent.
If your DSL connection rate is 4.26 Mbps, the corresponding IP profile on 20CN is 3.5, and Plusnet's copy must be the same for you to achieve a result of 3.38 Mbps.

Re: Stuck IP Profile

Ok no problem, didn't realise that.  I thought that that IP profile should be set to 4Mbps.
Not sure why I'm getting such slow connection rate though.  When I joined Plusnet a couple of years back I was getting download speeds of around 7 Mbps but this has drastically reduced over time.

Re: Stuck IP Profile

Ok think I've sorted the speed problem.  The router wasn't plugged into master socket, I've moved this and now getting much better connection rate.  If my IP profile could now be adjusted to match that would be appreciated.
Download speedachieved during the test was - 3.4 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 0.6 Mbps-7.15 Mbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :7.42 Mbps(DOWN-STREAM), 0.45 Mbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 3.5 Mbps

Re: Stuck IP Profile

It never has before, it always seems to get stuck and I've had to request for it to be reset.
