Stroud ( Brimscombe exchange ) issues?

Anyone got any issues in this area ?  speed has dropped again to around 1mb-2mb for about the past 3 or 4 days , usually get around 11mb-12mb.
Las time this happened was in April I think.

Sorry to hear about that, I've checked and there's no reported issues in your area. I've also run some diagnostics and can't see anything obvious that might be causing the slow speeds. If this is still an issue for you I'm going to advise raising a fault here: http://faults.plus.net

Have you tried a simple (once only!) reboot?
