Hi
I can stream music faultlessly with my old Netgear router, but the Thomson 585 as supplied will not sustain a stream. With WMP it plays about 4 songs then quits and loses the server, Serviio plays 1 song then quits, Twonky plays a few more then gives up.
I've tried disabling UPnP - no effect, tried switching off Extended security, again no effect.
Any solution?

Netgear makes good routers; why did you stop using yours?

I was trying without much success to stream music to a Blu-ray using TP-link ethernet connectors. I had unrelated internet connection problems so I tried the old slow netgear router to try to fix and found it cured the streaming issues. Got my connection issues resolved, went back to the supplied Thomson router and streaming failed again.
So looks like I need a new Netgear router?
