Strange, or just odd

Lately when I go on line in the morning, everything is OK then after about 5-10 minutes, my browser [chrome] slows down, then message appears unable to connect to internet.
when my DNS is <192.168.1.254> I will get the error message 'Resolving Host' I have changed to <212.159.13.49> <212.159.13.50> I have also used <8.8.8.8> I have rebooted my router, I have switched to ethernet.
All I can do is go away for about 20 minutes then usually everything seems to be OK.
I find this to be frustrating and most annoying.
Any ideas?

Hi there,
Have you been able to try another browser, machine or another router on the connection to see if this still happens?

Thanks for replying. I did try Safari, but no joy, I only use the Plusnet router supplied, next time I will try my wife's macbook.
