Still not as fast as should be

Hi guys, my new fibre has now been installed for 10 days, and unfortunately the sped isn't reaching near the estimate yet.
Postcode:
Phone exchange:
CROFTON
Estimated line speed:
69Mb (Download speed could vary depending on line conditions. Estimates are the maximum speeds that your phone line can support. These speeds are dependent on the package you choose.) - Checked on 2013-11-26 20:34:50
Current line speed:
77.4 Mb
I am currently only achieving 42Mb speeds that's a third of the estimate gone.

Re: Still not as fast as should be

Are those tests wired or wireless and which speed tester are you using?

The tests are wired, using speedtest.net also same result on iphone app.
The bt wholesale  speed tests, are much worse results at 32Mb

Re: Still not as fast as should be

Have you tried connecting directly into your Openreach Modem and creating a PPPoE Connection as described here: http://community.plus.net/library/broadband/fibre-help-how-to-set-up-a-pppoe-dialler-in-vistawindows...?
