Static IP block and exchange behind a Netgear router.

I was running a dlink router until Wednesday when it went pop (not pop as in pop3 pop, but pop as in bang). Anyway, changed this for a DGN1000 and all is well with web and VOiP out of the box.  I am having trouble with an SMTP feed to an exchange box my side of the router.
I have added smtp on port 25 to the inbound firewall of the router, but a scan of the ports shows that this port is available against the first of the ip addresses in my block of four, but the second ip address is closed on this port.
Is there a setting somewhere in the router config on this device where i can set a host name and point it to a servers IP address internally?
any help will be appreciated.
Many thanks.
