Following on from
http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,76958.msg639705.html#msg639705, I haven't really seen much benefit for the stability options as I have only managed to stop the large step changes in sync rate by using the DGTeam SNR setting on my router - it's currently set to 190% and I can generally keep my profile at 4.5 or 5 Mb/s.
Had I been visiting this forum more often recently, I might well have tried to get on the other trial
http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,82081.0.html... It looks like I could then have just got a fixed 6 or 9 dB target and done the rest at my end.
Anyway, I'd now like to come off the stability option trial and go back to 'standard', to see what happens. Hopefully I might also see a higher up link speed again - I haven't seen more than 488 kb/s for a long time now.
Just out of interest, have the stable and super stable options been rolled out for genral use?
