Speeds totally unreliable

I'm going to try rebooting the V8 again because it usually fixes it but this is getting past a joke - more the upload speed but when that drops through the floor I have major problems connecting to things like Google

Re: Speeds totally unreliable

Hi SteveA,
Would you like me to see if I can get my hands on a v7 for you?

Re: Speeds totally unreliable

I've got a V7 which was causing problems with random disconnects so a V8 was shipped out to me.
I';ll dig it out and see if it fixes the problem whch has come back already:

Re: Speeds totally unreliable

Well nothing has changed at this end and my upload speed is now staying high so I'm not sure what was going on.

Re: Speeds totally unreliable

Router rebooted itself sometime during today (I was at work)
Came in this evening and it was, well how can I put it:

I disconnected and reconnected and got this:

So I pulled the plug and got:

I'm more and more convinced that the V8 you sent me to fix problems I was having with my V7 is faulty - are they really supposed to take about 4 seconds to log in on the Web Interface?

Yes, they can take a few seconds to do that in my experience. If you suspect an issue with the v8 I'd advise trying a factory reset.
