Re: Speeds cut in half

Hi,
Please follow the instructions in the speed issues thread - link below.
Is there noise in your line?  Dial 17070 option 2 using a core dead phone in the master socket.

Re: Speeds cut in half

I've tested your line and it's not found any issues although the upload sync is poor and the download sync could be better.
I'd recommend raising a fault to us by using the link below

Re: Speeds cut in half

Afternoon Matthew,
Master of the understatement today ...  Cheesy
SNRM is indeed high which will be responsible for (but not the cause) of the slow synch speed.  Difficult to know (without further info) if the SNRM is high due that being the target or there is now much less interference than that which was present at the last resynch.
@rpuckyk,
Do follow the speed issues thread advice in respect of phone sockets, filters... etc and raise the fault report as indicated by Matthew.  Depending on the out come of that we can look at what next later.

Re: Speeds cut in half

I think that the SNR is likely to be so high due to the large number of disconnections last week, these are likely to have been triggered by noise/REIN or similar:
The line is a lot more stable since that point, so with the lack of noise too I'm going to try making some slightly alterations to your line to try and push your speed up a bit whilst the fault is looked in to.

Downstream has gone up, but I'm going to look at the upstream for you now.

Re: Speeds cut in half

How are thing looking now?
Some router stats as per the speed issues link below would be useful please.  At this juncture, speed tests are not overly helpful.
