Speeds Halved!!!! Please check

Hi,
Been here before so know the drill with testing this that and the other before posting!!
In the last week or so i have noticed a drop off in speeds and buffering on video content! Had a check and tests show im running at 18mps but i should be nearer 40mpsHuh
Can someone please check this out for me at the plusnet end cheers!
I did notice some Openreach guys with their heads down a hole earlier in the week!!

As it's the weekend you'd be better off phoning or raising a fault at https://faults.plus.net
staff won't be back on until monday..

If you run http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/ and then the Further Diagnostics, what's your IP Profile?
If you go here https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed what's your Current Line Speed?

Ip profile 36.13 used to be 42!!
Tested at 26.2 up and 6.2 down 12.09pm
was 18 up this morning!!
Still got man with head in a hole 200yds down the road!!!

I've returned the ticket to our Faults team for further investigation. They'll provide an update in the next 48-72 hours.

Came home lunchtime today and no internet!!! Although lights on router where green etc etc
But All devices connected but no internet, Reset router now i have it back!!
What is going on plz! There was another bloke with his head down a hole 200 yds the other end of my road yesterday!!

I have just replied to Ticket raised by customer service, will keep an eye out for a few days for any change!!
Please can you confirm for me though if there has been any works near me?? That you know of

There was some Planned Engineering Works overnight, as well as some again tonight, in your area - other than that, there's nothing else that we're aware of.
We're investigating a separate issue which may have been linked to you not being able to resolve some websites as shown here: http://usertools.plus.net/status/archive/1400850987.htm

Hi Chris,
I have just had another on/off moment 10 mins ago, but even the laptop i have left connected to the router via Ethernet was showing no internet access! and the computer via wifi dropped out then back on!!
Odd!! I have no experienced any issues until the last week or so

It looks like it could be your Wireless dropping out as you've mentioned. Would you be able to try a different Wireless Channel at all? Perhaps 1,6 or 12?

if it was the wireless then the laptop wouldnt of lost connection via ethernet  Huh

I have changed channel to see if that helps!! Seems neighbours are on the same channel?? if that matters
