It looks like you're on a fixed 2Mbps product. Would you mind raising a ticket requesting an upgrade to Max? I can then pick it up for you in the morning and we should have you seeing faster speeds within 24 hours!

Download 750 kb/s
Upload 372 kb/s
I'm not too sure how to see what my line is capable of like the opening poster was but surely I should be getting faster results than that?!
Any help appreciated.
Thank you!

BT Speedtest say's the following:

Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 1100 kbps

Quote from: greenpoole Statistics Downstream Upstream
Line Rate 2368 Kbps 448 Kbps
Noise Margin 10.4 dB 15.0 dB
Line Attenuation 61.0 dB 31.5 dB
Output Power 17.6 dBm 12.0 dBm
Those stats are around the 2.0-2.5mbps mark assuming they remain pretty static.
Quote BT Speedtest say's the following:
IP profile for your line is - 1500 kbps
This is your line profile. Taking overheads into account you would normally expect this to be around 500kbps more than your actual download speed. If your sync speed stays consistently higher than this then your IP profile should rise accordingly.
Quote DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 2368 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
This is your sync speed (see above).
Quote Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 1100 kbps
This was your actual throughput speed. As you can see it's 400kbps lower than the line profile.
TBH, there's not going to be an awfully large amount you can do to improve your speeds looking at your stats, and you're already on the up to 8Mbps service.
It's worth plugging your kit into the master socket and removing all the other devices from your line and checking your stats again, but if they remain unchanged then you may just have to accept that your line's not cut out for anything faster.
