Speed profile on fibre

Hi all just connected this morning.Does it still take up to 24 hours for speeds to improve.Was the sticky just for trial.
Installation went fine about 1.5 hours start to finish.Engineer did speed test but expected more i said it can take 24 hrs to improve but he hadn't heard of it before
so just thought id ask.

You profile is currently set to reach your line estimate. Are you connecting wired or wireless and what speeds are you getting?

You could run the BT speedtest - diagnostic version and post the result
Also check it against the Plusnet profile https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed

Hi was getting about 8 down 1 up on wired network but have tried over wifi
and im getting 64 down and 15 up so its a problem my end will update post
with what i find.

Hi again all sorted out and it was my end.For anyone using bigfoot killer network card you need to re test internet provider speed in network section otherwise it will
leave your speed the same as you were on before fibre install.
More than happy with speeds my estimate was 55mb so im well over what i expected.  
Is there anywhere that explains the router event logs have loads of firewall and ppp link events
i would like to understand more.
