@Townman The SVLAN for this line is green and the line is banded with the following profile "WBC 1M - 3M Medium delay (INP 4) 6dB Downstream, UC Low delay (INP 0) 6dB Upstream (ADSL2+)"
Interleaving will be making the ping times higher so we can try removing it but the earlier ping tests don't look too bad.

@IanStone that's an old router.
Doesn't look like it's dual band either. Reviews suggest it's a standard cheapie free ISP provided router.
I do think a newer router may help, or at least not make things worse.

I did swap out a Netgear DG834 for the Huawie HG533 several years ago as I wanted wireless in the same area. As there was no performance degradation I was happy. I agree it is yesterday’s technology, but which routers have good modems. All the reviews I’ve found focus on wireless connectivity. Modem performance does not feature.
Only one time out last night during peak viewing period. Did anyone tweak something?

Zyxel is probably a favourite brand for people looking for a good VDSL2 modem, they'll also work fine on ADSL.
