Speed has dropped over the last three month or so... reset possible?

Hi,

NOTE: I'm scheduled for switch to FTTP in a few weeks, so this may be somewhat redundant, but am curious as to what is happening...

I was regularly getting 59 Mbps 3 months ago.  This then dropped to 50 Mbps, and then to 46 Mbps which is where it has been sitting for the last two months. 

I did suffer some line drops due to RF interference (This is due to non-broadband related equipment which has now been rectified).

Is there a way of forcing the line to attempt to scale up again?  As this doesn't seem to be happening automatically...

IP Profile for your line is 47.38 Mbps
 
Can I get the IP Profile increased again?

Hiya @Mewcenary, thanks for getting in touch. I'm sorry to hear you've experienced a decrease in your speed! 

 

I've just reset your line for you and hopefully this will remove the banding, can you retest and let me know how things are?

Thanks for this.  Here's the latest:

Download speed achieved during the test was 47.92 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 40 - 50.89 Mbps
IP Profile for your line is 50.89 Mbps
 
So, a small increase, but the IP profile about 10 Mbps shy of where it used to be...
