Speed has died

The past few days (since ive moved to the pro gaming package - i was on a good plus net premier package before then) my broadband speed has plumeted.
Ive done all the tests, changed my router 2 times and the best i get is:
download : 913 kbps
upload : 71 kbps
It took about 10 minutes to get to this site and post this complaint.
What can i do. Im a long standing customer from 2003 and learned that the only way with plus net to get action is to get straight to the point about it.
So here i am.
Is there a problem with the pro gaming package?
[edit]
bloody hell, now my pages are timing out, including trying to post this!!!!!!!

Re: Speed has died

Hi Phillip,
I'm sorry to hear that your speeds have taken a sudden downturn.
Could I ask you to possibly try running a BT Speedtest?

This will help us to see where the problem lies.

Re: Speed has died

Just a thought. I have read reports on other providers forums this evening of apparent speed problems in Scotland, Newcastle, Cumbria and NI.
There would appear to be some issue with BT this evening which is affecting many ISP's. If we hear anything further we'll update accordingly.
