Speed following line fault

About 10 days ago we had a line fault (overhead cable down) repaired. Prior to the fault we generally had a sync speed of 2mb.
Since the repair, we seem to re-sync at about midnight or 6am on most days and the connection speed  varies between 2240 and 2560. This has locked us into a sync speed of 1.75mb. We have gone back up to 2560 today.
Is there anything that will keep us over the magic 2272?. A 12.5% improvement/reduction is quite significant at these low speeds!

Re: Speed following line fault

Hi there,
Below is a graph of your recent connection:

Is there anything that turns off/on in your house at midnight or 6am?

Re: Speed following line fault

The only thing with a timer is the boiler which comes on at 7.00 and goes off at 22.30... Apart from that there's nothing.

Re: Speed following line fault

I've just submitted an SNR reset which should hopefully bring the line profile back up for now but I fear that might drop again tomorrow so I'd urge you to raise a broadband fault: http://faults.plus.net
