Speed fault reported 5 days ago, awaiting support team

Hi, reported terrible speed loss Monday 5th (32816386) and as yet no reply from the support team. Speed was about 4.5M now about 190 Kbps for over a week now. Was once as low as 83 Kbps according to BT speedchecker. Help please. Derek

Re: Speed fault reported 5 days ago, awaiting support team

Can you post:

  • the results from a BT speed test
  • the current line speed reported on this page
  • the stats reported by your router - sync speed, attenuation and noise margin (this page has instructions on how to find these figures for lots of routers)

We'll then advise further.

Re: Speed fault reported 5 days ago, awaiting support team

Can you try disconnecting/reconnecting and then run a speed test again.
I'm wondering if you had something that caused a low speed sync which push your IP profile way down. Sometimes the PN systems need a reconnect to recognise when it has gone back up.
